Masking Tape Removed
Turned out pretty good! I took off the masking tape after the 3rd coat of black paint. The egdes were pretty good..just a few touchups!!
Now I have to let that sit for a week..then a few coats of clearcoat..then another week.....then light sanding..then some novus 2..then some turle wax and it will SHINE!

Man that mask is looking sweet!!! I really had no idea why you changed it, I never noticed the detail the first time. But now I can see the difference so far!
Any interest in making a Gamorean Guard? I saved a pic of someones prop a while back, and now I cant find it. I'm sure there is a club for that. Did I just give you an idea????? LOL
Yeah I didn't even know Vader's face was 2 toned like that! IT varies from movie to movie.

Yeah...I can tell the difference in shots of ROTJ and ESB...but its dark, and hard to tell unless youre looking for it. And obviously, his mask in EP.3 was new, so it was super glossy.
By the way, did you get your heads yet? Make sure you send me an email when you do. I'm curious of how they're gonna work out for you. Have fun with them!!

I may just put the vader one inside my vader helmet and have the motion sensor in line with his eye..then I dont have to take it apart or risk wrecking anything.

They are surprisingly loud believe it or not. Well, the Vader one is. Remember, it only has 8 quotes, it's not alot, but its a real nice clear sound. It's funny, when I walk past mine and forget its on, it startles me a bit. I have a Jango Fett room alarm thats the same way. Definitely keep the head on display, its a very nice looking piece!!!! Hope you get them soon!!!
