Slight improvement..

So here is the R5-D4 dome....after sanding off the bad parts and attempting to repaint the whitee without ruining the red pinstripes and the reflective stuff around the neck...

It turned out ok..worst part os on the back. I looked at some screen grabs from Star Wars and it's pretty beat up so I think I'll be ok once I weather it.

The neck piece that goes over the reflective stuff is 1/2 done. I had to file a bevel on each section so that took a while, but here it is just sitting there for now.

My dome greeblies (antenna, hydraulics, eyes) arrived yesterday...woohoo!!

Ok Guys, I'm not dead yet!!!
HAHAHAAHa
It was a rough time dealing with this problem.
My doctor put me on Celebrex and it nearly killed me. Brenda did research on this stuff and allot of people did die from it.

I'm out of the hospital and still very weak, But I'm going to live alittle longer.
Jason, Thank you for talking with my wife and for thinking about me.

I still have some goals in life to complete. 1- finish R2 and 2- meeting you and your family.

If anyone ever puts you on Celebrex,
REFUSE TO TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you again, Your friend

So glad to hear from you!!! That was a scary week!!!!

I will remember to watch out for that for sure!!! Amazing a product can be so deadly, yet so common!!!

I like your goals!!! I hope you can accomplish both!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure in a few years we'll be heading to florida when the KIDS are a bit older.

(sorry for writing this in your blog jason)

Calvin, If I could just squeeze in a few words. I'm very sorry to hear about your hospital visit and I hope you get a speedy recovery. I have a back ground in medicine and yes Celebrex is very scary stuff. None the less I love your goals and will keep you in my thoughts that you and your family will have a wonderful and meaningful life for many many years to come. Beside you have at least 20 more r2's to build ;-)..... but seriously all the best to your family

Warm regrads, Thomas (the other one)
