Here are the results...the only thing missing are my 3 Force FX sabers that I will hang on the bulkhead. It is a pretty large room..but I sure managed to fill it up! Movies look and sound GREAT! Had some problems sorting out speaker wires (my labeling went wrong) and my video wire from the Xbox 360 was NOT working and I was PISSED~! Once I took it apart again and cleaned off some paint it worked good...WHEW!!
The painting I worked my BUTT off doing and I was pretty choked when I pulled off my masking tape and it ripped off the paint underneath. I have lots of touch ups to do...but not just now.

If my job doesn't fall apart, I'll save money for a year which should leave me with about 25,000 towards a down payment on a new place.
But right now things don't look to good about my job. The company is hurting for money and after working there for 25 years it might not survive this year.
But we'll wait and see.
Calvin
Yikes..I hope your job lasts!!!
Money is suck a pain in the ass isn't it (or lack of).
I just checked my VISA after this basement buld and YIKES!! I am BROKE!!! I also found a $450 charge for a flight in London....in Euros. I have never flown in London...so I got ripped off! I have to dispute it with the bank now. YUK!
Come on Now,
You know you snuck off to London when no one was looking. AHHAAHa
You took the trip to see Kenny Baker in person huh.
So what's your next project?

Yeah I've seen pics of those when I was making my Fett. Mine are from flat sintra that I had to heat and bend, but these look really good.
You getting into Fett too??
Yeah, I'm going to work on it soon.
I copied the blueprints and will find the cans local. Depending on the price of the cans, I may just order the premade parts.
He's on Ebay for 30.00.
I like the one you built and there's a guy that has prints for the helmet, But he built his out of cardboard. I will follow your build for the helmet.
I'll be nagging for tips HAhahaaha
Calvin
Great! I am very proud of my lid considering it was one of a few things I scratch built.
You might wanna make 2 at once (one for the wife). ;)
The trouble with the Home Depot bucket was I could NOT find a glue that worked, but if you guys use sintra sounds like you know what glues to use.
Jason
You trully are an inspiration, ive been following your progress from your old stuff to the new and when I purchased my home a year and a half back(also in calgary) that drove me to create my home theater. Well done on all your hard work and thanks for the inspiration for my home theater!!
