Anyways...here is pic of my pocorn cart. It has an 8oz kettle...makes a nice sized batch every time...tastes great.
Here is a bit of progress on my Threepio. The torso isn't finished..I just sprayed it a long time ago to test the gold. The head is mostly done..I will repaint with a better gold paint when I get it.

Looks like you're going to have a killer Home Theater!! C3PO is looking great. I wish I had the time to take on projects like that. Not to mention the funds!!! I got my head fully on my R2, so other things can wait. By the way, I almost had the cardboard Battle Droid from Ebay!!! I got outbid at the very last second. You shouldve heard the obscenities flying out of my mouth!!! I guess some people have talent at that bidding thing? Who knows!!! Anyway, its great to see you posting again. I wish you and your family well!!! Dont worry, I'm watching your page all of the time.

But I might start building some feet to sell on the group.
Not sure if I'll make them from Styrene or Resin. Allot of people are allways needing feet.
I also found a site where a guy builds the feet of Fiberglass.
I might try that.

John..sorry you missed out on a battle droid..keep at it! Pretty much the only way to win sometimes is to just bid at the last second. I HATE that about ebay, but no choice. Buy It Now is nice when they offer it...less stress. Glad you are still watching!

John keep looking for the cardboard Battle droid. I got super lucky and found one the other day on EBAY with a Buy it Now for around $124.00. I couldn't believe it when I saw the listing.
Calvin, I finally found time to dissect your vex R2 code. Good stuff. I'm going to try that for my R2 dome with the mirrors in August after vacations. Plus I still have to purchase the vex line tracker sensor.
John....I only paid about $45 for my battle droid plus shipping. It shoudlnt really cost much more than that!

You're right. I probably paid too much now that I look at it. Got it last night and it's a bear to assemble. I woke up this morning to a headless battle droid sitting on the couch. Very funny sight.
I was actually impressed with how eaily it went together. I was considering printing my own plans and using glue, carboard etc to make my own.
