I need you opinion about something. I've allways said " I'm not building a screen acurate R2. And I need to add some sensors to him. Some I can hide and some I can't hide. I want to add Auto movement to the dome, But the Ultrasonic Sensors are going to have to be in the legs. In the Boosters to be exact. So there's going to be 2 holes in the top of the boosters for the sensors. Also if later I decide to go Auto. all the way, They'll be ready. You think this is going to mess up the look of R2, Or is it worth the sacrifice. Calvin
No they have to be pretty clear for the signal to work. I've seen other R2's with sensors all over them and I'm trying to avoid that look. It will be a sacrifice, But for them to work and have future possibilities, I guess I'll have to go with it in the Boosters. Boy, I'll catch CRAP from the other builders on this, But OH WELL. I wouldn't worry about a couple little holes..they wont be too big. Down the road they could be filled if you change your mind.

There will be 2 of them at 5/8 inch round side by side. With the booster painted blue, They may not look to bad, But they will be noticable.

Would they work if they were hidden under the vent grills on the side or something?
