I just got my welded leg #2 from the guy who welded it for me! He did a good job and welded up al the seams, filled in gaps and grinded it smooth for me. There are some areas where sanding and body filler will be needed, but this leg will be a lot less work than leg #1 was!
YAY...now I get crack-a-lackin'.

What thickness is your plate?
It looks pretty strong.
What type of shoulder motor are you using?
Oh Yea: Get Cracking Buddy!!!
HAHAHAHAHA
I decided to just have my R2 fixed in 3 legged or 2 legged mode. That being said if I want him in 2 legged mode I will just remove the legs (they are bolted in place) and re-attach them vertically. That whole 2-3-2 thing seems a bit beyond me.
Oh.and the plates are 1/8" thick for the legs. I had them all welded together. The plate on the outside of the leg is actually 1/4". I did this so that when I stacked a few plates and had them welded it would be as close as possible to the blueprints.
